Michelada Love is a bottled blend of 10 different ingredients that are found in most bars. Our recipe is made from: Tomato Juice, Hot Sauce, Worcestershire Sauce (vegan), Tamarind, GF Soy Sauce, Nacho Peppers and their Brine, Celery Seed, Chile-Lime Spice, Black Pepper and Salt.
Michelada Love is a slightly thick concentrate made with less water and more actual ingredient. Each case of 12 bottles will make 128 Micheladas. Each bottle makes over 10 drinks.
In 2014 Chef Dave Schy was working in Las Vegas. At that time, according to the chef, the Micheladas served in the "Hangover Capital of the World" were barely drinkable concoctions that tasted like hot sauce mixed with battery acid and salt. These drinks were hangover cures and they tasted nothing like the well balanced bubbly Cocktail Micheladas that he made. After being served many terrible Micheladas Chef Dave realized the need for a pre-made bottled Michelada mix that customers could enjoy and one that bartenders would be happy to serve. Today Michelada Love is served in bars, casinos and pools all over Las Vegas.
The Chef's 10 ingredient recipe is the same recipe he used to make in large batches for his restaurant. The recipe is different than most other Michelada recipes because it free from ingredients like MSG, High-Fructose Corn Syrup, Artificial Flavors, Dyes and Preservatives. It is also Shellfish free and Vegan. People describe the flavor of a Michelada Love michelada as bold, natural, clean and crisp. The mix is also the perfect base for creative bartenders who are known to add their own garnishes, special spices and sauces to the drink.
When Chef Dave had his recipe ready for bottling there was one last decision to be made. Did he want to pack his mix in a plastic or glass bottle? If he put his mix in plastic bottles it would cost less to produce and less to ship around the country. The only problem was that plastic bottles meant he had to add horrible artificial preservatives like Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Bisulfate and Potassium Sorbate. On the other hand if he “hot packed” his mix in glass bottles he would not need to add them. The choice was simple and that is why Michelada Love will always be packed in glass bottles. The chefs commitment to produce the highest quality premium Michelada mix has guided his decisions on every step and chosen ingredient that go into each bottle of Michelada Love.
